A Roscommon Galway TD says Ireland needs leadership, clarity and to pull back on the green jersey to manage this resurgence of Corona Virus cases.
Deputy Michael Fitzmaurice says the reckless scenes on social media seen recently have really aggravated people who have already made sacrifices in the national interest.
He says older people and those in rural areas in particular lost so many social freedoms during the lockdown, and that to see them being hit again with new restrictions, even for their own good, will be very harsh.
