It comes after Joanna Donnelly announced she was pulling out of the race for the presidency.
She has thanked people for their kind words and support after she revealed she was withdrawing on social media.
She says she was naive and unprepared.
Earlier, Bertie Ahern ruled himself out of the race for the Fianna Fáil nomination.
Local authorities will begin hearing pitches from Presidential hopefuls on Monday.
