The Bishop of Elphin has confirmed that it will be up to any priest over the age of 70 to decide if they wish to celebrate mass when churches -re-open this month.

The Catholic Church as well as Church of Ireland this week published guidelines for the return to religious services as churches re-open on June 29th.

Among the expected changes will include priests wearing face masks when giving out communion, and people won't shake hands for the sign of peace.
