Decision due today on the expansion of EROC in Ballaghaderreen
An extension was planned behind the existing Abbeyfield Hotel Eroc

There are currently 192 people living in the existing facility and they say the maximum number will increase to 310 if the extension gets the go-ahead.

A decision on plans to accommodate another 120 refugees in Ballaghaderreen's EROC Centre is due today. The Abbeyfield Hotel has been an emergency reception and orientation centre for refugees for over eight years.

Next Week and Company is looking to extend it, with 18 extra bedrooms. There are currently 192 people living in the existing facility and they say the maximum number will increase to 310 if the extension gets the go-ahead.
