There are calls to establish a permanent 24-hour taxi rank in Longford town.
Currently, non taxis are being parked in the space allocated to the vehicles in the county town.
Cllr Kevin Hussey raised the matter at this month's meeting of the Longford MD.
He's urged the local authority to undertake a review of the current arrangements on Ballymahon Street and that a 24-hour rank would have a number of benefits:
