A motorist in Longford is facing a court date following a traffic stop by local Gardaí yesterday.
Longford Gardaí were carrying out a joint operation with the National Transport Authority when they stopped the car.
It was found that the driver was acting as a taxi without the proper licence or insurance.

The driver of the vehicle will face a court date and a possible fine of up to up to €5,000.
