The President of Athlone Chamber of Commerce is encouraging businesses to apply for the outdoor seating grant before the end of the month.
The grant scheme for the hospitality industry is worth up to a maximum of €4,000 euro.
It allows the hospitality sector to buy outdoor furniture, and as well screens, umbrellas and electric heaters for their outdoor area.

The scheme closes on the 30th of this month and it won't be extended.
