Nearly 150 vacant properties in Roscommon have been brought back into use - thanks to nearly €9 million in state grants.
Roscommon County Council says the Vacant Property Refurbishment Grant has been a 'major success' since it was introduced in 2022.
A total of 522 applications have made in Roscommon, with 380 approved in principle.
Funding has been issued in 149 cases - with the average grant nearly €60,000.
