It's exactly one year since the local elections. when 54 councillors were elected in the Shannonside region.
We'll be speaking to some of those elected this week, to reflect on their first year in the council. A first-time councillor in Roscommon is Independent Micheál Frain, from Ballaghaderreen, who spoke to Eoghan Murphy about his first year:
