A former fire station officer says lives are at risk because of the lack of a fire station in Castlerea.
It's after a house was completely destroyed in a blaze in Tarmon Manor in the town last night.
It was put out by fire services from neighbouring towns - as Castlerea has been without a fire station since 2017.

Retired fire station officer in Sligo, Michael Shanley, who lives in Carrick-on-Shannon, has been giving Eoghan Murphy his thoughts.
