Construction work on a €15 million community hub in south Roscommon could begin in just over a year's time. The project will include event spaces and a cafe in Monksland.
The council says construction could commence in early 2027, subject to planning and funding. Local Fianna Fáil councillor John Keogh says he's hopeful the funding application will be successful:
