Close to €30,000 in cash has been seized and a woman arrested in Longford following a Garda operation yesterday.
Members of the Roscommon/Longford Divisional Drugs Unit searched two properties on St Michael's Road in the town at Lunch time on Wednesday.
The search was part of Operation Tara, the Garda strategy to disrupt, dismantle and prosecute drug trafficking networks.

€28,931 in various denominations was seized at the properties and a women in her 40s was arrested under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
She's been released without charge from Longford Garda Station with a file set to be prepared for the DPP.
