Potential presidential candidate Conor McGregor will not be outlying his case for the Áras to Westmeath County Council next Monday.
Last week, the MMA fighter claimed he had secured the support of local councils.
Candidates for the Presidency must be nominated by 20 members of the Oireachtas or four of Ireland's 31 local authorities.
However, earlier this year, members elected in Westmeath wrote to Mr McGregor informing him that he was not welcome in the chamber.
