Westmeath cinematographer nominated for Discovery Award at DIFF

Cinematographer Carol Tormey from Co. Westmeath has been nominated for a prestigious 'Discovery Award'.

Carol, who hails from Bunbrosna, was nominated for her work on the 'Wilde Sisters' short film which was directed and produced by Taine King from Co. Monaghan.

The short-film featured recently at the Dublin International Film Festival in the Lighthouse Cinema.

Carol said she's honoured to be nominated for the awards which take place tonight in Dublin.
