The CEO of the Western Development Commission in Ballaghaderreen will take up a new position with Uadaras na Gaeltachta later this year.
Tomás Ó Siochain was appointed as the chief executive of the WDC in 2018 and worked on the regional development of western counties.
It's expected he will take up his new position as chief executive on December 7th next, a role which was previously held by Mícheál Ó hÉanaigh.

Údarás na Gaeltachta is the regional authority responsible for the economic, social and cultural development of the Gaeltacht.
