Water leakage reduction works to start in Fenagh

Works will begin this week in Fenagh Co. Leitrim in an effort to reduce leaks.

Crews will be replacing over 1.5km of problematic water mains in Foxfield, Fenagh with new modern pipes.

Irish Water say the work which will be carried result in a more reliable supply, eliminate existing leaks and reduce the amount of clean drinking water lost into the ground.

It's expected the works will continue into March.
