Cancer patients across the midlands are facing 'unacceptable delays' when it comes to diagnosis and treatment.
That's according to Sinn Féin TD Sorca Clarke who says projections show cancer cancers are set to double by 2045.
She says hundreds of patients in the region are waiting beyond recommended timeframes for a colonoscopy and radiation therapy.
The Sinn Féin Deputy also pointed to staff shortages when it comes to radiotherapy and other services.
