Two Roscommon-based businesses have been flagged by the EPA for having poor environmental performance.
Aurivo Dairy Ingredients in Ballaghaderreen has been added to the National Priority List for poor wastewater treatment and odour.
Kepak in Athleague has also been flagged for poor wasterwater treatment. In its conclusion, the EPA says the 12 businesses on the list are "unnecessarily affecting water quality and people's right to a healthy environment" and they can expect further enforcement action during the year.
