Two men in their 40s are due in court today charged after a viable device was found in Carlow on Thursday.
The improvised explosive device was discovered in Kernanstown and the army bomb disposal team carried out a controlled explosion.
Cocaine worth 35 thousand euro and cannabis worth 10 thousand euro were seized, along with two 3D-printed guns, a shotgun and ammunition during searches at two properties.
Both men will appear before a special sitting of Wexford District Court at midday.
