Two people have been hospitalised following two separate crashes in county Longford.
The first collision took place in Coolarty, between Edgeworthstown and Granard at around 11.45am.
Two trucks and three cars were involved in this collision.
A man was brought by ambulance to hospital as a precaution.
No other injuries have been reported.
A stop-go system in currently in place there.
Separately, Gardaí and emergency services attended a two-car crash at Creenagh shortly before 1pm.
A woman was transferred to the Midland Regional Hospital as a precaution.
No other injuries have been reported.
The road has since fully reopened.
