Two counties in the Shannonside region are among only six that have had no fatal road accidents this year.
Both Leitrim and Roscommon have not had any road deaths this year.
County Longford, meanwhile has had two road deaths.

Nationally, road deaths are now more than 5 per cent higher than for the same period last year.
40 people have died in crashes over the first quarter of the year, in comparison to 38 last year.
