Crime levels reached a twenty-year high at one Roscommon Garda station last year, according to latest figures.
Analysis by the CSO shows that Tulsk was among six stations nationwide which experienced its highest levels since 2004.
In total, over half of all Garda stations across the country saw an increase in reports of crime last year.
According to analysis published in the Irish Independent, crime rates were higher than pre-pandemic levels at 52 per cent of stations.
Tulsk Garda Station was one of six nationwide to see its highest rate of crime in twenty years.
One of the largest increases in crime levels was at Moate in County Westmeath, where rates more then tripled compared to pre-pandemic figures.
The increase in reported crime was largely driven by a rise in thefts and public order offences.
Public order offences were up 5.3 per cent to around 30,400 while burglaries rose by 2 per cent to 9,744.
The number of thefts, meanwhile, were up 3.5 per cent to almost 76,200 last year, a ten-year high.
