Local Gardaí have put a traffic management plan in place for this afternoon's Connacht Football Semi Final with significant disruption expected.
Roscommon face Mayo in Dr. Hyde Park at 4pm and Gardaí are advising the public against unnecessary travel though Roscommon town between the hours of 2pm to 4pm and 6:30pm to 8pm.
People parked at permitted locations on the Athlone Road and Golf Links Road are requested to park with their vehicles orientated away from Roscommon Town centre. Motorists are advised that there will be no parking permitted on any part of the Circular Road with attendees requested to use public carparks.
Meanwhile, Roscommon GAA say that access to the seated stand is strictly via Golf Links Road and Access to the Terrance is Strictly Via the Athlone Road.
