Jeffrey Barnard was Dallas County's chief medical examiner for 33 years, before retiring last year.

One of the US's leading forensic experts, who cracked many cold cases and caught killers, says the body of Leitrim man Liam Farrell should be exhumed.

The 87-year-old was found dead outside in house in Rooskey in January 2020, and his family believes he was attacked.

Jeffrey Barnard was Dallas County's chief medical examiner for 33 years, before retiring last year.

He's reviewing the Farrell case in a voluntary capacity, after being asked to by Liam's son, Peter.

He says Liam's body should be exhumed as it looks suspicious:
