A local councillor has slammed Transport Infrastructure Ireland for its failure to tackle a dangerous junction in County Roscommon.
Fianna Fáil councillor Marty McDermott was responding to a letter from the TII in relation to the new stretch of the N60 at Oran.
He had previously asked the TII to consider safety works and said the junction was 'a fatality waiting to happen'.
Transport Infrastructure Ireland said it hadn't been identified as a 'high collision location'.
The N60 Oran Road Realignment Project was only completed in 2020 at a cost of €14 million.
