Tickets for Join Our Boys fundraiser on sale on Roscommon Monaghan match

In 2012, George and Isaac Naughton were diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a disease for which there is no treatment and no cure.

A Roscommon school is organising a fundraiser to help two young boys get life-changing treatment in the United States. In 2012, George and Isaac Naughton were diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a progressive muscle-wasting disease for which there is no treatment and no cure. George and Isaac have now been invited to participate in a ground-breaking clinical trial in the U.S., with a €650,000 target needed to pay for the first 20 treatments for each of the boys.

Second year students at Roscommon Community College have set up a raffle to help their two friends change their lives for the better. Raffle tickets can be purchased on the school's idonate page, and will also be on sale at the Roscommon vs Monaghan match on Sunday, 16th February. Deputy Principal Jude Lohan is encouraging parents and staff to assist with ticket sales for the worthy cause:
