A local TD has confirmed that people who are still without power can now book alternative accommodation and get reimbursed by the government. Thousands of people are now over a week without power and in some cases water as well. People who have reasonable evidence that they are still without power or water will be fully reimbursed for the cost of a hotel or B&B.
