Liam Farrell, 87, was found dead at the back of his house in Rooskey in January 2020.

There were false rumours Leitrim man Liam Farrell had become a millionaire before his death.

That's according to his son, Peter, who was speaking on RTE's Prime Time tonight.

Liam, 87, was found dead at the back of his house in Rooskey in January 2020.

An inquest found he died of a heart attack, but his family believes he was attacked beforehand.

Speaking in his dad's shed at the back of his house, Peter explained what he thinks happened:

He told RTE there was a widespread belief Liam had become very wealthy shortly before his death:
