A tender for accessible water launch facilities in North Roscommon has been published.
Roscommon county council are seeking contractors to construct a number of accessiblle Kayak and Swim facilities at various locations in the county
These include the construction of floating wheelchair accessible Kayak launch facilities at Lough Key Forest Park, Boyle River, and Doon Shore as well as a floating Swim Dock Facility.

Upgrade works to the access road entrance and the resurfacing of the access road and parking bays at the Boyle Canal are also included.
A number of extra wheelchair accessible parking spaces at Lough Key will also be provided for.
The deadline for responses is the 28th of this month.
