Tenders have been issued for the development of a new Enterprise Hub in Edgeworthstown.
co:worx which will be based in the former Ulster bank in the town, will provide space for up to 40 entrepreneurs by offering co-working and hotdesking facilties.
It will also offer space for training and act as a gateway hub for Athlone IT which has already included it in its plans for remote learning and examination centres.

Cathaoirleach of Longford County Council Paul Ross says it's the first town in Longford to have secured the collaboration with AIT.
