A temporary pumping system is now in operation at a flood-affected turlough in south Roscommon. The interim flood relief scheme at Lough Funshinagh was officially switched on by OPW Minister Kevin 'Boxer' Moran this afternoon. Excess water will now be pumped from the turlough to the Cross River in the townland of Carrick.
