A teenager has died following a tractor crash in Co. Leitrim.
The incident occurred on the R204 at Aghavilla in Carrigallen at approximately 3.10pm this afternoon.
A male in his late teens, who was a passenger in the tractor, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the tractor, also a male in his late teens, is being treated for non-life threatening injuries at Cavan General Hospital.
The road remains closed for technical examination and local diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
