A teenage boy has died after a crash involving a tractor in County Clare.
The 16-year-old was driving the tractor when the collision happened shortly before 2pm yesterday.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
Emergency services were called to the scene on the R458 at Bunnahow, north of Crusheen in County Clare, shortly before 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon.
The teenager, who was the sole occupant of the tractor, was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
He was taken to University Hospital Limerick where a post-mortem is due to take place.
Forensic investigators conducted an examination of the scene and local traffic was diverted.
Gardaí are calling on anyone who witnessed the crash, or has dashcam footage, to come forward.
