Gardaí are renewing their appeal for witnesses to the two-car collision on Ballygaddy Road in Tuam shortly after 6 o'clock on Sunday evening.

A teenager, critically injured in a crash in County Galway last weekend, has died.

Gardaí are renewing their appeal for witnesses to the two-car collision on Ballygaddy Road in Tuam shortly after 6 o'clock on Sunday evening.

The driver of one of the cars, a 19-year-old woman, who was receiving treatment for serious injuries, has since passed away at University Hospital Galway.

Anyone who was in the area between 5.50 and 6.15 last Sunday evening and may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact Gardaí.
