Teagasc to hold meetings across the region this week

Teagasc is to hold information meetings across the Shannonside region in the upcoming weeks.

The meetings will inform the public of information regarding the new Afforestation Scheme 2023-2027.

The topics discussed include benefits and opportunities, and how forestry interacts with other agricultural schemes, as well as a Q&A session at the end of the meeting.

Teagasc's information meetings will take place in Mullingar on the 10th October, Roscommon Town on the 11th, and in Longford on the Tuesday the 17th.

All meetings start at 7:30 pm, and no registration is required.
