There has been a reported strong demand for testing at the pop-up centre in Athlone just hours after it opened.
Following reports of a Delta variant outbreak of Covid in Athlone arising from events on June 11th, a special testing centre opened its doors at 10am this morning at the former St. Aloysius School.
The centre will operate until this Saturday between the hours of 10am and 4pm each day and is open to children and adults with people urged to bring identification.

Anyone who was socialising in Athlone on June 11th is urged to get tested.
