Strokestown Museum should be opened by Summer 2022

It's hoped that the refurbished famine museum at Strokestown Park House will be open by the early summer of 2022.

Works have been ongoing for over six months on the multi million euro project to upgrade the experience at the historic estate.

John O Driscoll is the manager of Strokestown Park.

He says it's set to be a very exciting start to the new year for the region and tourism.
