Street lights badly needed in west Roscommon village - Holland

The need for lighting in Lisacul was first raised by the late councillor Anthony Waldron but no progress has been made since he passed away earlier this year.

Roscommon County Council has been urged to complete the installation of street lighting in a west Roscommon village.

The need for lighting in Lisacul was first raised by the late councillor Anthony Waldron but no progress has been made since he passed away earlier this year.

Independent councillor Michael Holland, who was chosen to replace Mr Waldron, highlighted the issue once again this week.

He says the work has already begun but now needs to be completed urgently:
