The St Mel's Cathedral Pastoral Council is appealing for more volunteers from the community.
It follows a night of recognition last Friday for all those involved in running the Longford church.
There are currently around 140 people giving up their time in a variety of roles including eucharistic ministers, ushers and readers.
Paula Oates is the current secretary of the Pastoral Council.
She says new people are always welcome, particularly during busy periods such as Christmas and Easter:
