St Attracta's NS principal 'delighted' with planning green light

Roscommon County Council gave the go ahead for the development which includes ten mainstream classrooms and two ASD classes.

St Attracta's National School in Ballaghaderreen has received planning permission for a new 12-classroom building. Roscommon County Council gave the go ahead for the development which includes a car park extension, bus drop-off area, and bicycle parking. The multi-million euro project at the Convent Road school will include ten mainstream classrooms and two ASD classes as well as a multi-purpose room.

The local authority granted planning permission with twelve conditions attached. Principal of the school Noel Loftus said the Board of Management were delighted the new building can now be progressed:
