A special memory walk will take place at the Mall in Longford today.
The event which is being organised by the Alzheimer society of Ireland hopes to raise awareness around dementia.
All funds raised will go towards dementia services.

The event gets underway at 3pm and this year's Rose of Tralee Rachel Duffy from Westmeath will be in attendance.
