Special events including film premiere planned to remember Burning of Knockcroghery

A new film about the burning of Knockcroghery is getting its premiere this weekend.

The burning of the village, one of the most infamous events of 1921 in this region - will be available for people to view from 8pm on Sunday.

It's a big weekend of online events for the village- with a book also being launched tomorrow.

Will Keane, the director of the film says despite Covid they have discovered so much history around the burning itself :
