South Roscommon the 'poor relation' for Local Link - but no new services planned this year

The transport provider gave a presentation at yesterday's Roscommon County Council meeting.

There has no plans for any new Local Link buses in south Roscommon this year - despite claims it's the 'poor relation' .

Councillors were told rural transport is more accessible to everyone now - with most Local Link fares less than 12 euro return.

But south Roscommon councillors, John Keogh and Emer Kelly, called for more services:
