Son of Liam Farrell says wording on plaque was carefully considered

It was the fifth anniversary of the 87-year-old’s suspicious death.

A son of Leitrim man Liam Farrell is defending his claim that his dad was brutally attacked, tied up with a rope and severely beaten. He claims he was then dragged from the hay shed to the back of his house in Rooskey and died around 15 hours later. This is written on a plaque outside Liam’s house in Rooskey, which was unveiled yesterday.

It was the fifth anniversary of the 87-year-old’s suspicious death. His son Peter says the wording on the plaque was carefully considered:
