A son of Leitrim man Liam Farrell says he's confident the garda cold case unit will finally solve his dad's suspicious death. Garda Commissioner Justin Kelly has asked the Serious Crime Review Team to investigate the case.

87-year-old Liam Farrell was found dead outside his house in Rooskey in January 2020, with his body severely bloodied and bruised. His son Brendan says he's very pleased the cold case unit will be investigating the case - as he told Eoghan Murphy earlier:
