'Somebody will have to answer' for his death - brother of Rooskey man Liam Farrell

Liam, 87, was found dead at the back of his house in Rooskey in January 2020.

The 89-year-old brother of Leitrim man Liam Farrell says someone will have to answer for his death.

Liam, 87, was found dead at the back of his house in Rooskey in January 2020.

His family believes he was assaulted, and an inquest returned an open verdict in September.

A senior investigator is reviewing the garda investigation and he met the Farrell family in Carrick-on-Shannon on Friday.

Liam’s younger brother, Mel, says he’s confident justice will be done.
