Ivan Yates is tipping Sligo-Leitrim TD Frank Feighan to get a junior ministry in the new government.
The ministers of state posts are likely to be confirmed next week - if a new Taoiseach is elected later today.
Deputy Feighan, from Fine Gael, was a junior health minister between 2020 and 2022.

And Yates - a former agriculture minister and current political podcaster - believes he'll get a similar post this time.
