Slight drop in numbers claiming PUP locally

There's been a slight drop in the number of people claiming the Pandemic Unemployment Payment in the Shannonside region.

118  fewer people are in receipt of the payment this week when compared to the week previous.

1,592 people are on the payment in Roscommon, down 61 from the week previous.

In Leitrim, 826 people are in receipt of the PUP, down 31, while 26 fewer people are claiming the payment in Longford, with the most recent figure standing at 989.
