A walk at Sliabh Bawn as part of Strokestown's Easter celebrations has been postponed due to the bad weather.
Former senator Eugene Murphy was set to lead the walk today at 4pm.
Due to the rainy and slippery conditions, it has been called off and rescheduled for Easter Monday at 2pm.
Former local TD Eugene Murphy will be walking backwards for 10kms on the mountain, with funds raised going to the Hub and the Strokestown Community Development Association.
