Six primary schools from the Shannonside region have participated in the ESB Science Blast Dublin.
ESB Science Blast is a STEM educational programme involving primary school students investigating the science behind simple questions.
Over 400 projects were displayed at the four day non-competitive event at the RDS.

In Roscommon, pupils from Rooskey NS in Carrick on Shannon, Roxboro NS in Derrane and Clonown NS in Athlone submitted seven projects.
While, in Leitrim students from Gaelscoil Chluainín in Clonin, Gaelscoil Liatroma in Carrick-On-Shannon and Gaelscoil Liatroma on the Castlecara Road submitted three projects.
